Hurricane Laura made landfall near Cameron, Louisiana early Thursday morning as a dangerous Category 4 storm with 150 mph sustained winds and life threatening storm surge. Laura has been downgraded but still poses a large threat to multiple states with the possibility of flash floods and spin up tornadoes. Over 800,000 customers were left without power and several deaths have been reported in Louisiana as Hurricane Laura left behind a trail of destruction.
